Bus Routes for Walkers
If you have decided upon your walk which begins (or ends) outside of the town then consider leaving your car and traevlling on a local bus or the lake cruise. These easy to use (and relatively cheap) methods of transport relieve the stresses and strains of driving, having to find parking, then returning after a strenuous day on the fells. They are a fantastic way to travel around the Lake District sights:

Keswick to Grange, Rosthwaite and Seatoller
Caldbeck Rambler Bus (73/73A)
Keswick to Bassenthwaite, Ireby, Carlisle, Caldbeck
Honister Rambler Bus (77/77A)
Keswick to Lorton, Buttermere, Seatoller, Grange & Portinscale
Keswick Launch - www.keswick-launch.co.uk
Half hourly cruises around Derwentwater. Jetty stops around lake
