A superb 200 year old mansion with stunning views across the lake. Extensive grounds slope down to the shores of Derwentwater. Popular with families. Easy to reach by bus or ferry boat from Keswick. Rooms consist of mostly 4-8 beds, one 10 and a partitioned 22 bed room (88 beds). Meals available areBreakfast, picnic lunch and evening meal. Evening meal at 19.00 hrs.Daytime facilities: lounges, games room, self-catering kitchen, drying room, laundry, showers and toilets.
