Description
Riverside Cottage is located on the banks of the River Derwent, a 10 minute flat walk from the town centre. It has recently been refurbished to the highest standard and has all modern amenities. There is private parking at the front for two cars. There are magnificent views of the river from most windows and a peaceful patio which overlooks the river to the rear. The cottage sleeps 5 people in comfort.
The three bedrooms (a double, twin and single) retain their character with the double and twin rooms having (non-working) traditional cast-iron fireplaces. All the rooms are light and airy with large windows (complete with the original shutters). The double and twin rooms also have views down to the river with the single room looking over the Keswick rooftops to Walla Crag.
Keswick town centre is only 10 minutes flat walk along the river's edge. There is a lovely town park 100 yards from the cottage where children can play in safety.
